What makes a great photograph? Composition? That must be a part of it, but I think that a true artist has a certain “eye”, and usually knows exactly (a kind of magic moment) when everything in the picture is contributing to the desired outcome – to raise an emotion, or tell a story in one shot. And then takes that shot. It must be very rewarding to do that. Most of us don’t see the extraordinary side of the ordinary sights in our daily life. It’s a rare talent.
I’ve accidentally taken only a few great photographs, but you obviously have the eye of a true artist.
Your site is very good. I enjoyed it.
